Commercial pool service in Milton, Georgia

Milton has fewer community pools than its neighbors and higher expectations for each one. Gated entries, long drives, and water features are the norm.

Pools in Milton

Milton is the least dense of the north Fulton cities, with equestrian estates, large lots, and a rural-by-design character around Crabapple and Birmingham Highway. Its community pools are correspondingly few and correspondingly particular: gated communities with a resort-style amenity center, waterfalls and fountains, a spa, and a membership that expects the water to look like the brochure.

Water features change the chemistry. A waterfall or fountain aerates the water, which drives pH up and consumes sanitizer faster than a still pool. Pools with features need more acid, more frequent balancing, and a controller that can keep up. We configure the automation for the feature schedule and log the feature runtime so the chemical demand is explained rather than mysterious.

Access and logistics

Milton properties are gated, and the equipment pad may be a long way from the entrance. We keep gate codes, lockbox codes, and pad locations in the pool's record so any technician can get in, and we confirm our location at the gate on every visit. A handful of Milton properties are still on well water, which changes the fill-water chemistry, usually toward higher hardness and metals. We test the fill water once so the pool's balance accounts for it.

Inspections in Fulton County

Milton pools are inspected by the Fulton County Board of Health under Chapter 511-3-5, at least once a season for seasonal pools and twice a year for year-round ones. Spas and feature pools get their own inspection. Our records are kept per body of water and printed to the log book at the pool.
