Johns Creek became a city in 2006, but its neighborhoods were built in the twenty years before that, along Medlock Bridge, State Bridge, and Abbotts Bridge roads. They are large, planned communities, and their amenity centers reflect that: a main pool with lanes, a separate kiddie pool or splash pad, sometimes a spa, a clubhouse, and a tennis center.
