Commercial pool service in Kennesaw, Georgia

Kennesaw's pools split between large master-planned HOAs off Barrett Parkway and student-heavy apartment communities near KSU. The load swings are the story.

Pools in Kennesaw

Kennesaw sits between Kennesaw Mountain and Kennesaw State University, and its pool stock reflects both. West of I-75, the master-planned communities off Barrett Parkway and Stilesboro Road have some of the largest amenity centers in Cobb: multiple pools, slides, lap lanes, and swim teams. Closer to the university, the apartment communities along Chastain Road and Frey Road are built for students, which means a pool that is empty in July, packed in August, and busy again in the spring.

Load swings like that are hard on chemistry. A pool that was balanced for a light load is out of range the first weekend the students are back. The controller feeds to setpoint as the demand changes, and PoolSense Intelligence flags the pool when the projection says it is trending out. The visit cadence for a student community follows the academic calendar, not just the season.

Multi-pool communities

A master-planned community with three pools is three inspections, three log books, and three sets of equipment. We manage it as one property with a health score per body of water, one visit route, and one point of contact for the board. When one pool's filter pressure starts climbing and the other two are fine, the technician knows which pad to walk to first.

Inspections in Cobb County

Kennesaw pools are inspected by Cobb & Douglas Public Health under Chapter 511-3-5 and the Cobb County Board of Health rules, which add limits on total dissolved solids and calcium hardness. Seasonal pools are inspected at least once a season, year-round pools twice a year. Student apartment pools draw complaint visits; ours have the records to answer them.
